cal2002
2 - I believe that's due to your Windows theme. Change it to something other than luna and I bet it changes  No, that's not theme dependent, it's just green at this point. cal2002
Someone was right about the plugins causing the Red X bug, not sure why though. the bitmap is missing, it will be fixed in up coming builds. I't been an issue with past builds too. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/173468-wmp10-public/page/7/#findComment-2206224 Share on other sites
SuperJediMedia
And, the Taskbar Toolbar Man, the Toolbar is SO SWEET, IMO! Whenever you mouseover it, it displays the song info, and also does it briefly on NEW songs!!! Zero1
The fix for the red X at the bottom of WMP10: Looks a bit bad, taken from WMP10 pre alpha, but it does work. rename wmploc.dll to wmploc.dll_old in C:\windows\system32 (make sure that WMP is closed) extract this file into C:\windows\system32\ edit: filesize is too big to upload :( Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/173468-wmp10-public/page/7/#findComment-2206229 Share on other sites
dreamthief
2 - I believe that's due to your Windows theme. Change it to something other than luna and I bet it changes :yes:4 - That's obviously a bug and it wasn't meant to look that way. I bet it's fixed soon. 2) i was referring to the below picture. I dont think changing my Windows theme would make any difference. 4) I hope they would change this, it looked that way since the early beta versions. cal2002
Do you have a plugin loaded? (that is a background plugin) Load one and you will see it. Like the Nero Fast burn one for example. dreamthief
So the red x is caused by nero. Anyone have any ideas what is that "space" for? I hope MS not thinking of showing what plugins we are using in that area. As for the Online Store icons, i'll literally kiss anyone's @$$ if they could remove those icons and fix some of the UI "bugs" i posted earlier. Zero1
Its shown when you have any plugins running in the background. You can remove the big white area and the X by copying Bitmap resource 2014 and 2015 back into wmploc.dll. I have sucsessfully done it (check pic ^^). Doesnt look great, but its a lot better than a huge white area :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/173468-wmp10-public/page/7/#findComment-2206334 Share on other sites
