nwBen
12 1. You need a ban for joining Neowin without parents permission (which I highly doubt you got) 2. Oh, ok then - 12 year olds everywhere like stuff that is meant for an age group lower than theirs
Toxikk Veteran Posted June 4, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 4, 2004 who cares. that should give you more incentive to be nice to him. you are supposed to show why we welcome people here. besides, unless his parents post, how are we gonna know that they gave permission? nwBen
Thought parents are meant to fax their permission? that's if he registered using COPPA, which I dont think he did, because there is a special user group for COPPA registrations AFAIK

Toxikk Veteran Posted June 4, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 4, 2004 exactly, we wouldnt - more reason to think he didnt get the permission :p all he did was post a thread about a toy he liked. its not like he went trolling or anything. he just wanted to see who else here shared the same interests as him. school is out, we are going to have this. atleast he is being honest and not lying about his age. but unless he does something wrong, what is to keep him from being able to post here? he is no exception to the rules cuz of his age. he is just looking for a place to come that he can enjoy. we have all gone to a site and said we were 18 when we werent. that may never actually be something that we can control... but unless *he* starts a problem, he should be welcome here. we put up with other youngsters before too. :)
