Can you find your house?

There is http://terraserver.com (not affiliated with terraserver.microsoft.com)

They only go to 8 meter resolution (which sucks), unless you become a member (not sure if there are costs).

Tinley Park, Illinois

Represent!

That's one insanely detailed photo for this sort of thing. Nothing like the "quality" of mine  Heh, look at the size of our house. It's the largest red-rooved thing for miles

it took me about a half hour to find my house, but i found a nearby lake.. april 5th 2002, im guessing around 2:00pm because busses are at the side of the school.

- my house (lighted area is our property)

-my school (dark area is my school's property) .. around 2400 students i think .. classes had to be scheduled in the computer labs some hours due to overpopulation

hey, can any of you help me find the location of Rice University?

i don't seem it find it  :pinch:

Plugging in the address they list on thier website into terraserver.microsoft.com comes up with

http://terraserver.microsoft.com/addressim...ton%2c+TX+77005

Is it close?

[EDIT: Looking at Rice's campus map, I was able to see that it is just west of where terraserver put the red pin. http://terraserver.microsoft.com/addressim...ton%2c+TX+77005 ]

You think thats clear? Look at mines, you can see the bushes I got.

But we Recently extended out house out back by like 20 feet. And added a shed. The image is like 2 years old so it doesn't have it but I added the red box where its supposed to be.

I'm trying to find the whitehouse in dc on this, but i cant find it

http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.asp...=43010&z=18&w=1

Look for the White House here:

http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.asp...=86147&z=18&w=2

BTW, does it look to anyone else that the image of the roof is altered so no one can see what kinds of defenses/weakness there might be on that roof?

[EDIT: Beat to the punch, as I was typing in all the extra stuff to go with the link :pinch: ]

[EDIT #2: Odd, but the buildings immediately to the east & west are highly pixellated. More alterations? :ninja: ]

Yea, the buildings to the left and right have been altered, what are they? And I would assume the White House has to, I thought there was some missile defense thing on the roof.

actually.. it looks like someone completely drew over them with a rectangle tool and then blurred some stuff in the middle.. look closely at the edges.. the roof isnt really brown
