HPMCommander
I'm looking to get a more peaceful sleep/rest period, and I've heard if you have some background noise, you'll sleep through practically everything. I'm just looking for some streaming nature sounds. I just want to set it up and not have to worry about it for the whole time I'm sleeping  Anyone got anything? gaviaal
I use nature sounds at work. Especially rain sounds are very relaxing. I bought them though. If you find a place where they stream these kind of sounds, please let me know.

[jon]
When you say streaming, you mean you want it streamed live over the net? Just download some sound effects, by a CD -- I can't imagine anyone actually streaming one... :o Then again, I may be wrong :)
jkinzer
Get a soundmaker. I have one in my bedroom because my neighbors are noisy and rude. It helps me sleep when all I can think about is strangling them. :)

Blaise Veteran Posted June 3, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 3, 2004 Besides, I was thinking more along the lines of a river, or waves crashing on the beach. People who visit here say it drives em nuts :p when I was a kid and slept away for the first time, the silence kept me up all night, you don't realize how loud that ocean is till its not there. I would put on headphones and listen to radio static (white noise) to sleep. @ Hum: couple good links there (Y) @trash: Thats a great little proggie :D (Y)
