Raum
I've been offered a temporary network cabling job with a company and the president is requesting I submit a resume for future work with his company. I know nothing of resumes or what to put on them, as well as how to compile them. If someone could offer me some help, I'd be very appreciative. neowin_hipster
This is quite tough to answer, because it entirely depends on your skill level and experience level. Try googling for various resumes. Check for latex resume styles. IN that search you'll get tons of resumes. Many of them are from students, experienced professionals, educators, and it will give you a wide variety of examples. I suggest making a 2 page resume if possible. If necessary resort to paragraphs instead of bulleted points Also here you should list a few things: (sorted in order of what looks best for you) skills (languages (programming and natural), anything relating to job or otherwise) education ( usually awards and accomplishments (sometimes tied into academics for those who are just good students and nothing more) experience (very important later on, will become front runner eventually!) hobbies/interrests/goals (if you have too much blank space)
thor777_au
Start with the 4 main headings 'Job objective', 'skill assessment', 'work history', 'education and training'. (flesh those out) and add your own if you come up with them, but they are the main ones.

jymi
Create a r?sum? in Microsoft Office On the File menu, click New. In the New Document task pane, under New from template, click General Templates. Click the Other Documents tab. Double-click R?sum? Wizard. If you do not see this wizard in the Templates dialog box, you might need to install it. Follow the steps in the wizard. thor777_au
If you wan't my opinion, the office templates for resume's are out of date, and no longer reflect the need of employers to see critical information.
