Weirdest neowin access location...

Recommended Posts

LOL I've accessed NW from all sorts of places. :shifty:

- at internet cafe(s)

- onboard a flight to europe flying Lufthansa

- at Mum and Dad's place :ninja:

- sometimes even during work, but have to hit the "boss" button when he comes past. :p

im going on a lufthansa this summer. do you need to be in first class? need a laptop? is it free? last year when i went on one i filled out the questionaire and said that hte feature i would most like to have on board was broadband internet and the listened.

i cant go at school because we are not allowed and the librarians watch us like hawks. however, whenever i open IE, i always find myself typing neowin.n in the address bar before i remembert that im supposed to be do8ing somehting else. i do it out of habit now.

Last summer when I was in Uganda I went to neowin whenever I could. It took a while to load (example: it took a minimum of 30 minutes to read and reply to one e-mail on a good day) it was also costing me money at the internet caf? tell I was able to just figure out that a simple end-task would quit there monitoring program and use there services for free!!! You may say it was not the right thing to do but they were sharing a 56k with 10+ computers so I say fu*k them and anyone else who tries to torture people like that!

Oh, by the way the reason I was there? I was doing a project with Rotary we were installing 70 computers (PII 233 MHz, 64mb ram, 4GB Hard Drives, Win98SE, 15? Monitors) in four schools. We networked them all to the printers we brought. It was really a lot of fun!
