Zip
Okay, theres a new alfa romeo out (for you americans an italian equivilant of infiniti/acura - but more stylish). the alfa GT. what do you think of it? LINK As usual its beautiful but would you buy it? is there something not quite right with the back or is it me? personally i'd love to have one on my drive. style and exclusivity, compare it to a merc/bmw/audi etc... its so much more unique. ladies love them too. threetonesun
I wish they sold Alfas here :( As for it being slow, the race versions of this car can compete with M3s and 911s in GT.

zipgenius
That's a great car and Alfa Romeo is starting to raise its market share in Italy. The "GT" mark doesn't mean that this is a sport car: if you browse an Alfa site, you will find a widely common 1.9 JTD engine with common-rail, while the top engine is a 3.2 V6. I know that in the USA 3.2 engines seem crappy but for europeans that is really a cool engine size. A medium european car mounts a 1.8 engine and 2.0 engine is often consider as the base model for luxury car. Anyway, the front of Alfa GT is the latest design conceived by Alfa Romeo (see also Alfa 156 restyled) that - just like Lancia - are designing retro-styled car to restore the ancient glory of this carmaker. The back is quite anonymous, I must admit this, but seeing it live on the road gives personality to this car. In the end, Alfa GT must be considered as the luxury/sport version of Alfa 156 (many similarity between the two models) Bye :)
