Has anybody heard of the new XP version circulating in the net? They claim it to be the REAL FINAL XP CORPORATE version. It isn't the Devilsown version.

We are about to deploy winXP here, we have MS in for consultancy at the moment.

No way am I giving any one the ISO, I dont enjoy being in trouble, but I *WILL* get information that will identify the final build (ie: nothing illegal!).

Someone suggest the best way please, and I'll do it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but currently, there are two versions on the net that resemble the final RTM version (and countless other beta's)?

1) Devil's own, which is not actually the final (2600) but has replaced files in an earlier version to make it the final version (I believe a patch is available to "upgrade" -ahem- a previous version to final devil's own.

2) Windows XP Corporate Edition v2600, the latest and supposedly final version of Windows XP. No activation required (duh).

I don't know about anybody else, but those two versions (and the bloody beta's floating around) can be easily found on the net and verified via a file-sharing utility called edonkey2000 (www.edonkey2000.com). A search on windows xp will yield quite a lot of results.
