rumbleph1$h
My vote goes to Yahoo mail.... If you sign up internationally , at least here: http://login.yahoo.com/config/mail?.intl=au, you get 6 mb of storage opposed to the 4 mb they give new accounts on regular yahoo.com , but you still keep a normal yahoo.com name and can access it from yahoo.com...... if that make sense :p
b3ta
Yahoo! mail is probably the second best after what your internet provider provides.
Hankyone
i would say hotmail bcuz you can use it with outlook and messenger
Ivand
the e-mail that comes with your internet connection yep that's the better I know you're from Dominican Republic so if your ISP is tricom like mine the SMTP and POP3 servers to configure and Outlook account are jupiter.tricom.net ;)
_NeMeSiS_
i would say hotmail bcuz you can use it with outlook and messenger You can setup any email address to be used with outlook and messenger, as long as its properly configured, and with messenger, created as a passport. icec
http://www.gmx.net It's in german (take your translator!), but it's POP3, 10MB i think (who really needs 1GB of text emails, anyway?) and is very reliable and fast. and of course, it's free
Rudy
i tried a lot of free email but always used my good old hotmail account, i got it over 7 yrs ago so everyone i know email me to that one
ozgeek
the e-mail that comes with your internet connection I agree. Why do you need any other services when your ISP already gave you an email box. It depends on how much space they gave you. I got 5 mb  so that's why I got hotmail, but might get GMAIL when it's service is launched. Bearded Kirklander
i would say hotmail bcuz you can use it with outlook and messenger That is why I like Hotmail. I can use it in Outlook Express with no problems. I have been trying Spymac, but their mail does not work that well for me. Stuff I send gets bounced/rejected a lot. Maybe because it has the name SPY in it. But I just found out about setting up their free 100 meg of web space, so I think I will keep trying it even if I don't use the email anymore. I have never had 100 meg of free web space before. I can even access it with FTP clients instead of their web interface that I could never figure out. In fact, I just figured out how to get their web space to work. Anyway, I do like how you can configure Hotmail options so you can put people on a safe list so no matter what the spam filter thinks, your friends can get through to you. I tried to forward Spymac mail to Hotmail so I did not have to worry about checking their site (it is really slow) but even Hotmail rejects their email. Darn it. cork1958
Hotmail is without a doubt, the absolute worst e-mail in existence. There are so many free, web based e-mail sites out there, this question cannot get you a very satisfactory answer. So my answer is your mailbox provided by your ISP. gaviaal
http:///www.fastmail.fm Definitly Fastmail.fm is quick and reliable. You get 10 MB and IMAP (indeed) for free. They got a lot of features (especially if you become a paid member). Check it out!
