A Tale of Two Cities

Recommended Posts

I am currently working on an English project which is due tomorrow. Has anyone read A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens and have the book. If so, I need a quote that shows that Doctor Manette is infact a physician. I know he is, but it seems to me like Charles Dickens has a way of telling the readers certain things without saying it directly. I have searched high and low for a quote that explains this but not luck.

I need to know ASAP. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. :D

You searched? are you sure....there are many times in the second book where it is mentioned by someone else that he is a physician. He has been referred to as a physician many many times...you might actually want to read the book. Anyway...I turned in my book already..so..o well

But he had married in England? the President reminded him.

True, but not an English woman.

Yes. By birth.

Her name and family?
