Briandl79
Isn't it funny how everyone has a lawyer, either friend, or hired) whenever it's convinent? This is whats wrong with this country. People think lawsuits are the answer to anything. Thanks for the laugh this morning. I needed it   I agree totally. I won't go so far as to say that he doesn't actually have a lawyer friend because there are so many damn lawyers nowadays that I'm sure just about everyone does know one, but to think that he has nothing better to do than to spend his time litigating over twenty-four dollars is absurd and to ask him to do so is even worse... Additionaly while this company does have negative and neutral feedback on eBay because of the sheer volume of their sales they are above 99% which is acceptable to be a Power Seller, which means you haven't "learned" anything at all because you say they have 54 negatives over the past year but fail to mention they have well over 4,000 positives which again is 99%. There are so many ways to deal with this situation in a mature and effective manner, consider them and use them.

MajorSham
Just a little note on the BBB for all of you: You may or may not be aware, however the Better Business Bureau is a privately owned corporation. Many people tend to think that they are a government organization, based on the word "Bureau" in their name, and the torch imagery they use is commonly used by the government (ROTC rank insignia, back of the dime, etc). While the fact that they are a private corporation may not matter to you, consider this: To become a BBB member in good standing, you simply pay their membership fee. Once this is done, you'll have a good history with the Bureau, regardless of the complaints against you. I've heard horror stories about the BBB misrepresenting companies, and people getting ripped off by those companies. Finally, if you do file a complaint with the BBB, the only thing they do is send a letter to the company in question. If the issue is not resolved, they refer you to your lawyer or the Attorney General for your state. IMO, they blackmail companies, and mislead consumers. kitteny_berk
god, are half of you 14 or what? send a POLITE mail, stating the problem and asking if it's possible to get it changed, the difference back, or a refund. then if you have problems, call them, ask to speak to the manager and complain some more, then, if needed threaten them with the lawyers

jkinzer
Always, always, always check out reseller ratings here before buying from any lesser-known online store. If you had, you might have seen reviews of Imagestore like this one: 2/11/04 10:18 AM (1 of 1 users found this review helpful)bought a NEW USB2 card as listed on pricewatch for $10 shipped. Arrived obviously used, in a bubble envelope with a home burned cdrom (drivers). Which would have been all fine, but we determined the card to be DOA after testing it in 3 different computers (windows xp). Requested an RMA for an exchange. Took a few days to email me back and tell me that i have to pay an $8 RMA fee to get the card exchanged.? Kept sending me tips on dealing with video card installation issues. The instructions were obviously made up by somebody with less then 1 year or English and probably as much technical experience.? In 10 years of online shopping I have never ran into this kind of crap. I can guarantee you our company will never spend another penny on these thieves. That reseller has a very bad rating. Pursue it as much as you can, but don't expect much. Next time check out that website before spending your hard-earned money:):)

Xer34
Aye :( Im sorry mystnight, but yeah, Id say this might call for legal intervention. If they hang up on you, the only thing I could think of is keep calling, and keep pestering them, and then threaten them with legal action. That usually makes them wanna talk with you. Good luck though. Id be more careful next time. Cheers bud.
