moglenstar, I really like your config but want to change it a bit. I don't want the meta column to have different colors which indicates better where the album starts. I'm using the dugg color scheme and want this column to only have the dark blue color. Could you please give me the code which makes it look that way? I had a look at it but have no clue what to change.

prefs > display > columns ui > playlist view > "columns" tab

select the "meta stuff" column and on the style tab, from "// this was a pain in the ass to do :D" delete everything after that line :)

i downloaded someone elses config and am having trouble editing it.

im new to foobar.

foobar.jpg

i managed to change the text at the bottom to blue ok

thanks

Just a few questions, I'm trying to get custom buttons and slidebar like bangbang023 and the BG changed behind the buttons. Where do I download the buttons he used and the slidebar, and where do I change the BG color there?

EDIT: And how did he get the "suffle tracks" bar sall like that?

I have another question. I view my artists in my album list by artist. However, there are some artists I want to delete. I delete them by right-clicking on the artist I want to delete and click Remove from library. But when I restart Foobar they reappear. How can I permanently delete these artists from my library?

@lcg: I dont have an awnser for you :p but I would like to know which playlist tree plugin you're using, cause mine has folder icons and I hate that :p

Nevermind that question, I didn't know I could change those icons

My next question is if I can change the current playing song background collor.

If it's possible, how can I do that?

And how can I add a now playing bar?

Just made this. It's a pretty simple config, but I like it. Newest plugins are foo_uie_playlists_dropdown and foo_uie_tabs. Both great playlists. :)

Capric0rn's answers:

First question - It's possible, but I don't know how to do it at this time. Try asking the same question on the foobar2000.com forums.

Second question - I'm pretty sure there's a plugin for it, but I cannot remember what it is called. Sorry.

My next question is if I can change the current playing song background collor.

If it's possible, how can I do that?

like this example:

$if(%isplaying%,$set_style(back,$rgb(255,255,255),$set_style(back,$rgb(93,96,94)))

And how can I add a now playing bar?

use track info panel

I added that, but now when I select that playing song it doesnt look right.

Can I change the selected current playing song color as well?

And can I add an outline color to that selection?

When I add a track info panel it's on the right side.

How can I put that on top?

use track info panel

I was going to say track info panel, but I'm pretty sure there's another plugin made just for now playing songs. People have them as bars stretching across their player. Although maybe it is just another track info panel. I dunno. Track info would work fine though.

    • Well Statcounter doesn't count Edge users as Chrome. It uses the user agent and my understanding is the Brave browser users the standard Chrome user agent for privacy/tracking reasons and compatibility so that would help the Chrome numbers. Some Firefox users change the user agent for again compatibility reasons. I am going to totally guess the Chrome numbers are inflated some 5 or 6%.

    • Easier to move to Firefox, either Zen Browser or LibreWolf (which includes it by default)
