Do those things on the left (where it says album list, explorer tree, etc) stack on top of each other? For example, if you click on the explorer tree one, does it move into view while the others collapse?

I'd like to know how you got your foobar set up like you did. I am still using 0.8.3 because of foo_uie_tabs not being ported yet (may never happen at this rate). I have also been waiting for the "specia" installer that had all of the most used components like they made for 0.8.3, but that may not happen for a looong time and I'm getting impatient.

Also, could you tell how you did the playlist tree? That is really sweet!

Could someone help me setting up AMIP for Foobar?

Cause it doesnt work :s

I copied the string for mirc into an alias script and it isn't working for some reason.

And my Logitech Media buttons only work when foobar is the active app, as soon as I minimuze it the keys dont work.

Could someone help me with these 2 issues?

Cant help with the AMIP but for the logitech problem, either uninstall the drivers or you could try reading this thread to see if it helps.

The last thing is what I did but it doesnt work when the window is inactive.

They have the same problem there with Setpoint.

Does it work for anybody else when the window is inactive?

I used uberOptions to enhance the Setpoint functions so now I assigned hotkeys in foobar for play etc and assigned the same keys for the media buttons on my keyboard.

But the AMIP issue remains, I cant get it to work.

Definitely,

I have an S510 Media Keyboard with a Remote and I did some research on the matter.

I am assuming you have Setpoint 2.60 installed.

Anyway - For the moment Ctrl-Alt-Del and terminate the SetPoint software.

I'll walk you through step by step:

1. Terminate SetPoint

2. Set the keys in foobar2000 (Use your Media Key buttons when assigning)

3. Make all the Media Keys Global

4. Go to Program Files > Logitech > SetPoint and look for players.ini

5. Add this under the [Players]

foobar2000=wac,foobar2000.exe,{E7076D1C-A7BF-4f39-B771-BCBE88F2A2A8},xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Foobar2000

6. Restart your SetPoint (From the Start Menu and/or Control Panel)

Try it out. It worked wonders for me. Only problem was my Shuffle Media Key didn't work, but everything else works brilliantly (Including the remote)

If it doesn't work, feel free to post. I'll gladly help you with your research.

Update: Follow this link, scroll down to the latest post. It contains a cleaner modification (In my opinion)

Logitech SetPoint Thingie

It works just as well, and it adds support to MPC. So in my book, that's just great.

Doesn't work for me :s

I dont understand this one btw:

2. Set the keys in foobar2000 (Use your Media Key buttons when assigning)

I'm using the Logitech 3100 set.

And I should stop editing my posts that many times :p

Basically go to foobar2000, open up Preferences, navigate to General > Keyboard Shortcuts.

See the Play, Next, Previous, and Stop buttons?

Good, all you need to do is replace the Z, X, C, V with the media keys on your keyboard.

Click on the Z, X, C, V's and press the appropriate keyboard shortcut.

It is essential that SetPoint is not running in the background. No matter how many times I try, it never manages to read the key with SetPoint running. (Weird)

I find it really sickening how Logitech makes their own standard for keys and buttons...

Just like the Logitech mouse classic problem: "Universal Scroll" instead of "Middle Mouse"...

WHY?!?!?!

I used uberOptions to enhance the Setpoint functions so now I assigned hotkeys in foobar for play etc and assigned the same keys for the media buttons on my keyboard.

Thanks for your help though ;)

I dont have problems anymore with them, I just wanted them to work without using the hotkey system in foobar.

And the AMIP problem is resolved to, now I use a different script for mIRC :p

No it's not cause it works with my Logitech drivers but only when foobar is the active windows.

It's not using foobars hotkey system when you push the play button on the keyboard.

Hey guys i'm having a problem adding new buttons to my foobar. I'm running 0.92, and i've got the png component loaded, however when i load any .fcs buttons or replace each with a png. I get a blank spot where the buttons are supposed to be, they work but no text or image, any ideas would be great thanks!

I just downloaded foobar today. It's awesome and it's definatly replacing winamp. Anyways here's my question. I've basically copied a config I've seen, or atleast tried from memory. I've colored the columns and now when the column is highlighted the color changes. How do I fix this?

    • Chrome is Google's commercial web browser product; it consists of their proprietary features (Googlified everything including profile sync) plus their chromium project barebones web browser. Google developers control the chromium project. The chromium project is the "core" for the web browser product from other vendors including Microsoft Edge (their own proprietary features), Opera (their own features), Brave (their own features), etc... The "downstream" teams at Microsoft, Opera, Brave, etc., can either integrate their original MV2-supporting code into future builds, or they can integrate chromium wholesale and simply add-on their own features/functionalities -- their 'current' build pipeline, so to speak. THIS is why changes at the chromium project affect so many products besides only Google's commercial Chrome browser. -- Edit to add: The chromium project is open-source, and is the piece that's Google's code contribution to the W3C and world wide web at large; there are no licensing fees for others to use the code in their own products... which is what they do. Other browser engines do exist (Firefox's for example) but it's nearly impossible to have both engines bundled into the same 1 browser product.
    • You're comparing settler colonies to colonized war torn nations. It's easy to become the richest by coming in and stealing other people's land, culture and resources.
    • ABP has become "old news" when MV3 started rolling out. They've gone downhill and is now simply irrelevant..... in my experience.
    • About two years ago, I switched to Brave and haven't looked back.
    • FWIW StatCounter has been trash for over 25+ years! Back in the day (circa 2000 and GeoCities pre-Blogger era), it was useful to paste a number on your webpage indicating how many visitors you had. In the ensuing 25+ years, they've grown in reputation and changed their ways... but their overall consumer value has remained abysmal. Serious marketing agencies only cite StatCounter when there's literally no other sources available to support any marketing claims! They are the absolute lowest threshold serious companies use to push any sort of narrative about this-or-that happening. Besides their credibility being what it is, they are forever subject to quality issues. They're so bad that my DNS-level ad-filter prevents me from even viewing their main website! HA!
