mulligan2k Posted June 8, 2004 Share Posted June 8, 2004 Howdy, my mate lives in kidderminster worcester and even he cant explain why, even though kidderminster is in worcestershire, all the kidderminster postcodes begin with DY and not WR can anybody out there explain this situation? mulligan2k Posted June 8, 2004 Author Share Posted June 8, 2004 okay postcode = zip code. its our english version. with me? right. there is a place called worcestershire pronounced (wus tur sheer) and there are several towns within. well , every town within (wus tur sheer) begins its post code with WR(for WoRcestershire) well all except one. Kidderminster. which starts with DY. well we first thought about rivers, but the only rivers are the river severn, and the river stour.
