tlogank
I am going there for the first time next weekend, I am real excited about it. Just an FYI for any of you between 18-22. You can fly anywhere that AirTran flys for only $55 each way. It is an awesome deal, that is how I am getting to NYC. Check out X-Fares.com to see for yourself. I have flown them many times and loved it! You can't beat this price...they do this for college students or anyone that falls in that age bracket! Shyatic
If you want the best burgers... go to 51st and 9th -- Island Burger. It's a small shack that has the best burgers in the world. My recommendation -- The Cowboy, cooked medium.

Timan Veteran Posted June 9, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 9, 2004 You'll love it, I just went 3 weeks go, amazing place. If you plan on going up on the empire state building, prepare to wait about 2 hrs, in lines and lines and lines just to get tickets, then more lines just to get to the elevators. Then once your up, you wait in another line to get your picture taken then another line to go in yet another elevator to go up 6 floors to the top. Once there its nice, but packed lol. Heres a pan picture I took up there. http://members.cox.net/timan25/empire1.jpg and here was a protest right in timesquare lol, http://members.cox.net/timan25/protest.jpg Also your going to get tired by walking everywhere, you should go on a bus tour you'll get alot done much faster, also check out some of the tv studios, like the today show and goodmorning america.
