dougkinzinger
Hoagie Carmichael's "Georgia On My Mind" became the Georgia state song in 1979 after Ray's version popularized the old song.

QuantumTrickery
I will really miss his contributions to the music industry. Georgia on My Mind, mess Around, What I'd Say, I Can't Stop Loving You, and so many more. The list is too long to even mention. Throwing on one of the greatest hits album now, and going to loose myself in some beautiful music. The world has lost another great icon today. And I always get a smile thinking of the Blues Brothers movies, seeing him fire that gun.
