malebolgia Veteran Posted June 12, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 12, 2004 A while back a friend of mine was telling me about a device she saw at Best Buy. It was a can of compressed air, but the catch was you could reuse it by pumping it back up. After going trough a few cans of compressed air today that product is looking pretty good. Does anyone know where I can get this device (assuming anyone here has seen it). Thanks, -Malebolgia

Cody
i thought that there was something special about canned air, like it wasnt humid or something so you couldnt use normal air

null_
Id like to find out more about this too, it's something that could really come in handy for when I'm cleaning out a computer case and my can of compressed air suddenly goes dead.

suicide_pact
About two years ago, I saw these being sold in CompUSA (SanFrancisco). I don't know if they still have them, but I seem to remember that the price was about the same as one can of the non-reusable kind. EDIT: just checked their site, nothing listed. threetonesun
why would u want a can of compressed air? It blows out at high speeds, making it good for cleaning stuff you wouldn't touch with your bare hands. On the other hand, this seems like it would be ... impossible to do, at least with your bare hands. I mean, a can of compressed air is really compressed. Consider the fact that it comes out ice cold, it's got to be in there at pressures you couldn't achieve with some muscle power. Maybe a can you could refill with your own air compressor, if you have one.

Best part is with this one you don't have to pump just plug in the compressor and you?re ready to go. Plus you get better pressure.
