xSammyx
i would just like to point out that Chayan Khoi's pieces are not meant to be wallpapers. these works are huge works printed on glass. there are exhibitions of his work around europe. his work gets sold for thousands of dollars. what is unique about this art is that it is printed on glass and the frame is hand made by Chayan and there is light in the back of the frame. so even in the dark it is as if you are looking at it on an LCD. xSammyx
short biography of Chayan: Chayan Khoi born on September 19 1963 in Tehran, Iran. Attended the school of industrial design in 1985 and received a degree in architecture. In his 15 years of photographic career has produced at least a thousand images. In 1999 he published two books: a cyberrealistic book with vocal synthetiser, tactile screen and CD on the theme of the lost cities and a book on Haute Joaillerie Cartier and on the utilisation of modern technology in handicraft and industry of luxury. In his early days he used to give away his art work for free to friends and businesses. there are two of his works still in a hamburg restaurant chain called "boof" in Tehran each estimated at $10,000 right now. i actually attended one of his exhibitions in Luxembourg in november and at the end of the exhibition which lasted 3 hours, all of the works were sold. there was around 50 pieces at the exhibition, and these pieces were going each for thousands of euros. when i saw him, he seemed like a very modest man. he became famouse after doing advertisement designs for Cartier and design several covers of "buddha bar" CD.
