i don't want to register, what about Los Angeles?

small 3 bedroom houses are going for more than 500,000 now... and my house that used to be 200,000 when we bought it is now worth 600,000+

About the survey:

The survey, drawn up twice a year, ranks cost of living for foreign workers, not local residents, and is used primarily by multinational companies to determine pay for expatriate employees.

i believe tokyo and osaka are very expensive..no doubt about that...but the other numbers there? no way..moscow?...and according to that index, chicago and taipei are neck to neck in living expenses....i dont know what they're doing in chicago, and what they're eating in taipei, because i am sure they are NOT close.....i'd say bad rating....(N)

The only one I find hard to believe is Moscow.

All the others are pretty easy to believe. Taipei is a pretty expensive place to live. Living expenses are pretty high and luxury dining is high as well. But normal roadside "cafes" and "booths" are very, very cheap. The price difference is very large.
