kitteny_berk
make him pay, complain to ebay, charge massive amounts for postage, like ?100.
forster
Contact ebay, and offer a second chance to whoever had the previous winning bid, or you can relist it after claiming back any charges you may have accrued.

Dazzla Veteran Posted June 14, 2004 Author Veteran Share Posted June 14, 2004 Contact ebay, and offer a second chance to whoever had the previous winning bid, or you can relist it after claiming back any charges you may have accrued. There wasn't a winning bid, that's the problem, there was 3 hours left on the auction and it was up to ?149, just below my reserve, and this user has used the buy it now option for ?190 and ended the auction. This guy does not live in Uzbekistan, it's a made up person to **** up my auction.
dougkinzinger
You can kick his bid out, as the seller you can do that.

What the hell am I supposed to do? how do you know that the address is fake? you could go ahead and try to get payment and make sure the check clears before shipping it. charge him postage for registered or recorded delivery. it COULD work good luck

Dazzla Veteran Posted June 14, 2004 Author Veteran Share Posted June 14, 2004 Samarkand IS an Uzbek city .. perhaps you should give him the light of day on PayPal. I know the place exists, but are you saying it doesn't sounds even remotely dodgy? I've emailed him back saying Personal cheque, Paypal or nothing. If he doesn't agree to any I'll report him as a NPB and relist for free without the Buy It Now option. What an ass.
