supernova_00
Personally, I'd file a NPB and relist. I've "sold" to someone in Uzbekistan once before and he payed through paypal, two days after I shipped, I get an email from paypal saying that it was a stolen account and the money was taken out of my account and since he was in Uzbekistan the seller protection would cover it, so I was out of a $300 camera

But I will, I'm not going to accept anything.
supernova_00
Ya, I think thats the best thing to do...Personally I'd only ship to US, Canada, UK and Austrailia and maybe Netherlands. Most other people with accounts that are from other countries are usually frauds, and I always try to make sure their address is confirmed. That crap still ****es me off about me getting shafted out of $300, I wasn't covered by the seller proection because his address wasn't confirmed. Dazzla Veteran Posted June 14, 2004 Author Veteran Share Posted June 14, 2004 Ok, I've relisted: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=6302195060 Then after 7 days I can report him as a NPB and get a refund on my original fees (?10.99), ****er... dougkinzinger
It's not a matter of finding merchandise, but it is a matter of finding valid bidders.
Max Veteran Posted June 14, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 14, 2004 Non UK, Non payer, ended my auction, reported to ebay. Lol. Now has -1 feedback :D What a knob-jockey, we've had similar people who want us to ship stuff like little transformers to Taiwan and places like that. Damn, it even said UK postage only! :s

I'm a french citizen... Confirm your damn address and you could buy from me or most the other sellers. PLus with me almost all the bids I've gotten from countries like Israel, Ubekistan, Korea, and some others...the buyer had 0 rating and joined like 5 days before. I'm definently not selling to someone like that unless they had a confirmed adress and used paypal.
mistical
Haha, I am with Dazzla, I think it is fake, I personally would not even think by looking at the picture of the link someone provided of the location that they would even have a computer out there, but hey, you could call me dumb. :p Which actually is a dumb think I just said, but I would not even bother selling it to the person. If you havn't already, just put down the only places that you will accept bids from, like, if it were me, I would only want to deal with of course, US customers, Canada, the UK, and some other ones as well... like Australia. am69me
This is going to sound rascist or culturalist, but it's just being realistic, I never ship to any country ending in -stan or -ine (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Phillipines, etc). I feel bad sometimes because there are legitimate buyers there, but as a whole 99% of my auctions that have been won by people in those countries have ended up being fraud... I am also however willing to attempt a transaction, but the buyer must virtually bend over backwards to get the transaction completed. Here are some tips to help if possible A.) Purchases paid by PayPal must wait for atleast 14 days to verify no fraud (it has been found within normally 3 days in my past experiences) B.) A bank or government issued money is a reasonable request if the situation is sketchy C.) Never send items until you are reassured by your bank that the funds are free and clear D.) Don't worry about being rude, while they are buying your merchandise, you have to look out for your best interest, not theirs... -Rick

supernova_00
Well until Ebay and paypal figure out away to handle all the frauders in those countries then I will not deal with them, just like the other 90% of sellers

CyBeRiA
you guys suck ! ..and sound impossibly pathetic. you judge others before you got to know them. :totallymad: I don't know what you use eBay for, but it's not about making friends with someone through the internet, it's about selling your stuff. If many people have had problems with fraudulent accounts or non-paying buyers from a certain geographical area, there's a very good reason not to sell them the item. If people in those areas aren't going to take the time to confirm/verify their information or provide reasonable insurance against fraud, why should the seller waste the time and money shipping their (usually expensive) items to these places?
