gate1975mlm
For a firewall I use Sygate Personal Firewall! I used to use Zone Alarm but I could never host online games. Sygate Personal Firewall lets me host online games with no problems.

Ryan V
Well Service Pack 2 For XP will include a built-in firewall, and pop-up blocker  but is not due out for a couple weeks.
lhommefm
There used to be stickied "Definitive" firewall/popup blocker etc threads over at the software forum but they seem to have gone. You can find them through the search option (using keywords Definitive and either firewall, popup etc). There are polls for the lazy (like me) or you can actually sift through the pages of responses. =/ At any rate, Google toolbar's popup blocker does just fine for me.
