VS 6.0 + VS.NET 2003 with MSDN Library

Question

Hi All,

A while ago, I did a post on installing VS 6.0 with VS.NET 2003. I thank you all for your replies. I am now working on both the IDEs (prefer the VS.NET 2003 definitely :) ). I installed MSDN Library (April 2003) after installing VS.NET 2003 and while working with VS6.0, I can no longer use 'F1' to go to the library directly with a search for a keyword or syntax  . I get the message "MSDN library is not installed on your....". Is there any way I can link MSDN library April 2003 with my VS 6.0 installation?

Thanks again!

Indrajit

I have no clue about this, because I only have Visual Studio .NET 2003. But um...if you accidently messed up the MSDN Library, you should have a CD copy of it, I think. Because when you buy it, I think they include it. Not sure. lol.

Hope you have better luck.

:)

P.S. Because in my Visual Studio .NET 2003 ( I know that you are talking about V6) they gave me 3 CD's for the MSDN Library.

Yeah,

I do have the CDs of the MSDN library, but lazy as I am  , would prefer to get around with linking the new MSDN libs. with the VS 6.0. I did get three CDs for the April 2003 MSDN library copy.

Cheers,

the current MSDN releases are not compatible with VS6, as they are NET related

as stated in another thread, the last MSDN release that worked with VS6 was from 2001 if i remember correctly
