when using thunderbird, it keeps timing out, can anyone gelp me connect with thunderird?

Did you sign up for Yahoo! Mail Plus? You have to have Plus to get POP3 access to your mail.

that's cause mail.google.com exists as a domain on http's port ;)

and it forwards you to gmail.google.com anyways. But that says nothing about gmail going in for pop3. I don't know if they arleady provide it though, or if they are having such plans in the future.

You can use YahooPOPs to get pop3 access to your free yahoo mail. Although at the moment it looks like the site is down.

To make things better, a few months ago they made it so bulk mail doesn't count towards your used space so if you get lots of spam, it's not going to suck up all you inbox space.

I am so proud of Yahoo! I knew it was going to happen eventually...now we just need to wait and see how MSN Hotmail replies... :o

again. "wait and see". typical msn eh?

they are not NOW... so what good is it compared to those available now?

****ING BULL****

those ******s only gave me 100mb. they said 2 gigs. i have mail plus. WTF.

ok spanky how about you calm down and contact them? The changes are being implemented today, so you may just be on a server yet to be hit by the change.

Your email address is seen on the pic. You should have blacked it out.

do you REALLY think that's my real e-mail? :p

too bad Yahoo! didn't implement the upgrade for the business mail users (I have a Small Business hosting account), still 25MB on my alternate domain

Thanks for that heads up. Yahoo isn't google, so people tend to be less patient.

It's also because of that major dns outage.

That dns company is used by yahoo...so the combo of the dns issue and the upgrades have hammered their servers.

yeah I just called Yahoo! Customer support (as I'm a business service user, I can actually get human on the line! lol), they say they're having really serious problems, everything will work right "when they are supposed to", and business mail (web hosting) account users will be upgraded eventually too, weeeee *kisses yahoo* *dumps gmail* *kicks MSN*
