peterish
I sold something on ebay for 320 dollars and I mailed it out ( from USA to Germany). Now, 2 months later, The person files a no-delivery refund claim through paypal, and paypal has automatically and instantly deducted the 320 dollars and I currently have a negative balance. I did buy some kind of delivery confirmation but I cannot find the receipt for it... (Yes, I really can't find it :( ). Therefore I have no means of challenging this claim. I immediately took out the few hundred dollars I had in the bank account on file for paypal. I plan on closing this bank account because it is a small account and I was going to cancel it anyway. This is probably a long shot, but is there any ways to fight this claim, and/or save my paypal account? Any and all advice is appreciated.

mistical
or fly to Germany and find this guy and ... you know what from there... But you really have to find where you put these, maybe call who you sent it from, they may have something on file. Unless it was just regular mail then I do not think so at all. lol. I am sorry that happened to you, I'd be so mad if something like this were to happen to me or my mom whom uses ebay so much...

peterish
It was a new ipod mini in unopened box... so it'd be a shame to get it lost. I hope the mailman didnt steal it >_< I shipped it through USPS (post office) so there's no chance of retrieving the package without the receipt. I really don't care if he received it, or if he's trying to scam me. I shipped it out and if it got lost, then tough, I don't feel sorry for anybody, except maybe myself for having such bad luck. Anyway, I've already closed that bank account and I'm not gonna have anything to do with paypal, at least not for a while. Thanks for all the replies :)
Xer34
Sorry to hear that man. Try to find any proof that you sent it, thats all I can suggest, other than paying insanekiwi to.. get your money back.. I would love to call my neowinian friends my "connections" ... "yeah, I got... connections" :shifty:

I'm sure you'll do a lot of business on ebay with that kind of attitude. Sounds like you got what you had coming, with that attitude.

Imagine how this guy feels if he truely didn't receive the item. For all you know, he's thinking the same about you, thinking that you scammed him. What an ass of yourself to just pack up, cancel your bank account, and tell him to screw off, how guilty does that make you look to him and Paypal? spidoinkel
i agree with the previous two replies. its that kind of attitude that makes people wary about ebay and paypal, if you have a problem that you are 100% sure shouldnt be there then turn your house upside down until you find that receipt, you dont seem bothered by the fact that $300 worth of goods is randomly floating around UPS. I shipped it out, no matter how much I "care", the fact remains that he did not receive it and probably never will. I took care of business on my part so why should I lose sleep over it? I have no sympathy for him because paypal has already seized my money! I have a negative balance for godsake! Are you forgetting that I lost 300 dollars?? Get your facts straight before flaming me dude. I doubt you would have such a cordial attitude if you were on the receiving end of all this bullsh!t. Business on your part is not complete until your customer receives their item, not simply when you drop it off at the USPS office. Perhaps if you actually kept your receipts, or bothered looking into this for them, maybe you could get your money back. If you just cancel everything, close your accounts, and keep this attitude up, you'll be sure that you won't ever see it again.
