M3 Power

Recommended Posts

Just giving you guys that have to shave a heads up. The new Gillette M3 Power blade is AWESOME! Gillette lives up to its word again, its the best a man can get and its their best shave ever. It feels as if you are your own barber b/c as u move the blade down ur face, you feel as if its the closest machine shave you have ever gotten and it makes shaving a lot faster. (atleast for me it does) I use to have to do it for like 20 min + to have it look nice. This brought me down to 5 min, approx 8 min maximum time. If you have the chance, definately try it out...its worth every penny!

theoredically if the M3 had twice the blades, then you could shave twice as fast...

M6- save your hairy face in less than 5 minutes!!

M3 only has 3 blades, but runs on a battery motion that makes ur shaving seem as if u were at a barbershop.....what's this about an M6????

Coulda sworn we had a thread on this before. I tried it out for myself. Its nothing more than a gimmick. Its a vibrating razor. It doesn't cut closer, or faster or anything of the sort. I love the "micropulse" claim. Clever name for a vibrating feature. I shaved half my face with the M3, the other half with the Mach3 turbo. Results were an identically close shave. There was one nice slight advantage to the M3, the extra weight felt nice in the hands, almost like having a bit more control.

My Mach 3 works great. I can shave in 5 minutes. I think the "M3 Power" is like a placebo. If you think it will help, or give you a better shave, then it will.

not worth it. at the grocery store where i work, i can pick up a mach 3 gift pack (the razor and three sets of blades. oh, and it has a flashlight, hoo-rah!) for $5.

True, although I don't really like using electrics anymore.

OMG.... Calivin and Hobbes... Stewie... Mitch Headberg.... You are lucky I'm not gay...

On the real topic at hand I have the Mach 3 Turbo and the Mach 3 Powery-Do-Dad and.... The advertising says that the razor removes more hair with each "POWER STROKE".

I performed a test with this, right side of the face with a new Power blade, left side of the face with a new Turbo blade and the power blade would consistantly remove more hair in 1 stroke. I don't know anyone that shaves their entire face with 1 stroke. I would say that 1.25 strokes of the Turbo is comparable to 1 stroke of the Power.

The Power wouldn't really save me any time, would cost more money because it's new... And everyone of you knows that as soon as that battery died you'd never replace it and it would be a standard Mach 3.

My suggestion is to go with the Mach 3 Turbo for the extra blade coating, definate upgrade from the Mach 3 regular... But the power? Eh.... They needed to invent something new and they said "Hey, things with electricity are cool" and viola! The M3 Power was born!
