I know tattoos are forever. It would be my first.... and yes, it is a pheonix. Would be smaller than the picture size also.

Looks cheesey too. And if you have to ask someone elses opinion about if you should get a tattoo or not, well you really shouldn't be getting one then.

The pic is big. It would be shrunk down to probably 4inches by 4inches... maybe smaller, im bad at sizes and stuff. But not that big.

I asked friends and family, and they like it. But i want strangers opinions too, just to make sure my family is being honest. If it looks dumb, i wanna know. strangers will be seeing it also.

Looks cheesey too

I can't say yes or no as I don't know what you look like and tattoo's are something that must suit the owner personally.

I you feel it suit's you and your peronallity, then go for it dude.

try to design your own tattoo. You can base it on whatever you want. But if you design your own tattoo it'll be a lot easier to say yea, this will look good i wont regret it. I should know, I've got 3 tats.

If I were you, I wouldn't get a tattoo at all. Because If you gain/lose weight it might become distorted. I think tattoos are okay, but it's just a fad that will pass and then one day it might be cool to not have a tattoo. Am I making any sense at all? :D

it looks cool

but tatooes are toxic into your body like cigarettes

Its amazing how uneducated about tattooing people can be. I have full sleeve tattoos on both my arms, both of my legs and having alot of work done on my back. The artist who has been doing my work has been doing so for 25+ years. I've only had work done from him as well. Of all the people he has laid his work on, zero have ever had any ill effects from getting work done. However there have been known to be some places out there using pigments and other materials that can have a bad effect. The ultraviolet trendwhore crap some people are getting now still has unknown effects, and are only being done by people that are total ameteurs. You should be able to go into any artist, ask them what their pigment is composed of and know exactly what involved. Any artist not willing to at least share the general information could definitely be considered shady. This isn't the case in most places though, as most use ink from reputable providers with a long history of providing quality pigments.
