angryapple
Hey everyone I've got a question and I need some opinions. I am fairly up-to-date on current laptop options and prices, but I am not so sure when it comes to used laptops. A friend of mine is going back to Korea in a week and he is selling off a lot of his stuff. One of such items would be his laptop. I need some help deciding whether or not I should purchase this and if so whether or not it's a good price. The computer is by some company called KDS? I've never heard of them before but the laptop does not look bad. Important specs: 933mhz Intel P3 256mb of Ram Built in Trident something or another graphics card 20gb hdd 14.1 screen It's pretty small and light overall Will come with linksys pcmia wireless card Had a CD-drive not sure if it burns or plays DVDs.. I don't really care about that for the most part He got it probably sometime in late 2002. Let's assume it's in fine cosmetic shape and the battery holds decent charge and there's no secret problems with it. What would you guys pay for such an item? He is looking to get $300. Monkeh
That is definitely worth more than $300. It's a good deal if you're looking for a portable laptop that will mainly used for surfing/office tasks.
QuantumTrickery
Sounds pretty reasonable to me. And if ya nag him enough, i'm sure your friend will go lower!
PureEdit
$300 is great, he could probably get $700 for it if he wanted.
asdflkjsdrhthfhrhr
I'm getting a similar one for free to tide me over until I can afford a better one.

OPaul
Looks good but don't expect to be able to play any games with that Trident chipset.
