For your kind information Mr.

Rediffmail is INDIA's fastest email services since last 5 years.

And its Inbox is way better than any other spymac(1gb) or aventuremail(2gb).

"fastest" according to who?

their own PR that will make it sound like the next best thing since slided bread?

it might be "better" than those other 2 no-name companies.

but once again, the point of having 1gig mailbox is to make it your primary email

and if i'm going to make my primary mailbox somewhere, it sure as hell won't be some company in india that i never heard of and does nothing but trying to ride 1gig mailbox hype wave.

google or yahoo are infinitely more trustworthy than any of the 3 you mentioned

agreed. I might get 5 in a month from friends/family. It's mostly over IM.

The reason why gmail is so popular is 1) a gig of storage 2) it's google. a name you know will stick around. Sure you can sign up to one of the jillion 1 gig mail services that are coming up but how long will they last? I can set up a mail server on my computer and start giving out 1 gig emails but if I decide my room is too hot and I want to turn off the server, you'll all be screwed. If you're going to store 1 gig of crap on your email server, I'm sure you'll want the company to stay in business for a long long time.

Huh?

Kid you are new to webworld I think.

Try search india's fastest and more reliable email...... ... you will surely end up with rediffmail.

And its not a site which can be setup in a room as mentioned by you.

Well I think you are struck by FOOT IN MOUTH decease.

Rediffmail is faster and more advanced than LYCOS.

If AOL is for americans, REDIFF is for indians.

how about you research a little bit before you make random accusations...

it's not a 'no-name' company - it's not trying to just have a 1 gig mailbox. it's a really fast growing company in india - india's answer to yahoo. also, try to come out of you silly little world and smell the roses - india is one of the fastest growing nations in the world... you may not like to believe it, but that's just the truth.

here for more info: http://investor.rediff.com/

it happens to be listed on NASDAQ, and just being listed there indicates that it is an extremely credible organization...
