....
they were redone for exactly this reason..to make neowin more tech oriented.. Exactly. You have to make an effort to scroll all the way down to look at the GD area....an area which ****es you off. Don't scroll down, don't get irrational, and don't get warned/banned. Simple as that. This is not hard, Mxxcon. Everyone else....including those you deem 'stupid' get it. You seemingly...don't. How ironic is that?
OPaul
Here's a thread I made on the topic in the Invision Board's.. board. http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?...T&f=30&t=124405 If enough people respond showing their support perhaps we can get the ball rolling. Please everyone show your support for the "View New" filter feature by posting in the following thread; http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?...T&f=30&t=124405
bakerster
when you click "Forums" link there should be 2 choices:Computers/Tech and Everything Else i'll have no problems if "general discussion" in 'Everything Else' forum will have questions on how often people clip their toe nails or if they buy tshirts w/ no-itch tags. and then we(or at least me) will have our computers related "general discussion" For the 6th time. If you don't like how Neowin is set-up, then go make your own forum. Do It EXACTLY how you like it. Delete the threads that you dont like. Hire people that you like. Use your ugly font for the forums, **** everyone else off. Just don't bitch and complain, HERE!

Bearded Kirklander
I have an actual question. How come right at the top of the forum it says you can't debate or criticize the moderating but the person who started the thread did just that and hasn't been banned or temp banned or whatever? Is it ok to criticize the mods after all and that rule on top is not enforced or something? It's hard for a n00b like me to figure out what is allowed and isn't allowed if the rules are out of date or not enforced anymore for whatever reason. I kinda like to know boundaries so I don't step over them. Thanks, BK
Quantumdefect
Does anyone actually care what he thinks anyway, he just contradicts himself anyway, hmmm lets have a forum wher NOTHING other than technical queries are posted, he says creating a thread with 59 posts which is not anything technical, I mean he could have just put in a request to Neowin admin instead but no, he didn't he decided to start this damned thread which is forever reaching the active posts page. I kinda like to know boundaries so I don't step over them. If the mods held MxxCon to the same standard as everyone else they would be too exausted disciplining him/her. While this will be denied, there is more leeway given to users with higher post counts. It's like a teacher a school. In September you need to be very strict with the new students to make sure they don't develop any bad habits. But there always will be some students that the teacher will just be happy if they get through the day without hitting anyone. You can only give out so many detentions before they no longer become effective.
