RoadRunner Download speed?

2.0 Mb is alot faster than 350KB. Yes yes yes.

Except that's in megabits per second not megabytes per second.

So 2000000bits/8(bits/byte) = 250000bytes = 256kilobytes/second.

Stop being a tool. RoadRunner is a widely know ISP. Not his fault you didnt understand it.

In my area i have 2 ISPs sympatico and rogers, those are the "main" ones, and there are many other small ones, but i never heard of RR, does it own any compnies??

roadrunner is timewarner and its in america. i dont see why those ###### are calling oyu stupid. on a sidenote, you should check out shareaza, its an awesome p2p app.

*sighs* wow out of all those people i cant believe it took that long to realize that it was in megabits and not megabytes per second..sheesh

as soon as i saw roadrunner and a shareza pic i already knew what the problem was

Can't say I cared about the pic (didn't look at it too long) and I've never used Shareza (no reason to).

well, a lot of people, including those who make applications cant seem to get the capitalization correct in the Mb/sec MB/sec... so... yeah... like for example, older versions of FlashFXP have Mb/sec when its really MB/sec :rolleyes:
