Wannes
Some threads still have "shouting" in thread titles, meaning that the title is in all caps. Moderators then edit the topic title to remove the caps. Invision Power Board has the ability to disable that, so when a thread starter posts all caps the software will automatticaly change the title in normal sized letters. bangbang023 Veteran Posted June 23, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 23, 2004 it's also buggy, at best. On my site, for instance, I have seen it lowercase a capped first letter of the second word.
sfalcon
Yeah, and I hate when it makes something like: GTA: San Andreas to Gta: San Andreas.

Toxikk Veteran Posted June 23, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 23, 2004 i believe the admins know the board afc. i also believe that we do not have this enabled cuz we do not want to treat the members like babies and expect them to know when caps are just wrong to use. sometimes they are acceptable ;)
Glowstick
Actually, you can bypass IPBs antishout with a single lowercase character. He have it activated on a board of a pal of mine, and I do it all the time to annoy him. Something like that would bypass it: OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111x

Admin CP >> System Settings >> Topics, Posts & Polls This used to be on here, but I complained to Neobond numerous times to remove it, because as a Tech site you have people using titles that include company Acronyms. AOL (Off) = Aol (On) IBM (Off) = Ibm (On) etc you get the idea.. It's especially annoying when you make news threads in BPN (N)
Joel
IPS is more annoying in that regard. I typed PDR 5.0 and it turned it into Pdr 5.0. :s
