Kriz
I went on Gmail this morning, and i have more invites, but when i click Invite a friend to join Gmail! nothing pops up like it did before. I keep clicking, and its like im not doing nothing, nothing loads or comes up. Same with the Contacts, i click that and the box that popped up before, doesnt show up now Any help? Thanks
Jason87
What browser are you using? Apparently it only works properly with Internet Explorer, but I use that anyway, so I don't know if it doesn't work with the others.

The_Decryptor Veteran Posted June 23, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 23, 2004 If your using firefox or any browser with a pop-up blocker installed, make sure it's not blocking it

[ timko ]
I'm not sure what else you could do then apart from... 1) temporarily disable any (possibly new) software firewalls you have installed 2) reboot windows 3) just wait, possible gmail server fault
Kriz
Hmm, it could be my firewall. I reverted back to Norton 2 days ago. Ill try disabling that. *Edit* Nope, disabled my firewall, still doesnt work
biorK
oh so your inviting me now then? great (Y) ;) Check all your firewalls, pop-up blockers and try other browsers. I take for granted that you've rebooted. Could be a Gmail server problem, wait and see.

[ timko ]
Try putting options (under tabs Security and also Privacy) back to defaults in IE. A friend of mine who has 6 invites can bring up his invitiation window just fine :) Also, some Anti-Virus programs have popup blocker (or at the very least script blocking stuff) as well so you could try disabling that as well. Have you tried it on another PC yet?

red.
i'm having the same problem with IE and MSN explorer. I installed firefox and it worked. I do have pop up blockers in IE (google toolbar, msn toolbar and norton IS web assistant) and i tried to disable all of them but it didn't work. Shouldn't they still work on MSN explorer still because the pop up blockers are only for IE, right? Anyway if anyone can help me fix this i would be really happy as i don't use firefox so i don't want to keep it on my computer just for gmail.
