1500/128, though tomorrow I'll have 1500/384 since I called Verizon and asked to upgrade my upload speed due to their new package for new customers, though old customers get it as well only if they call.

i was wodnering, to ervyone that has 3MB down, what is your average speed dling??

Just divide by 8...

3MBit = 3000KBit

3000 / 8 = 375k/s

I'm currently @ 3300/256.

I really wish Comcast would get with it and upgrade us to 5mbps or greater like almost every other cable company in the U.S. The upload speed DEFINITELY needs a boost, as well.

:x I'm on dial up. Chinese dial up. It's really bad, especially coming from Canada where I had cable. I can barely even stand to get online now. Basically I just check my mail and that's it. Even that is too frusterating :p

There's 8 bits in a byte.

I don't know in Beijing, but the city(Shenzhen) I am from U can get adsl dead cheap...

it's something like 20mb connection with 200 yuan that's about just over 10 pounds and 16 dollars. And I am sure they will have boardband in Beijing.

anyway, my connection at home (in London) is 512k, but I am upgrading to 1mb when I am back from holiday.
