Avada
A giant exotic plant that has not bloomed in the Northeast in more than 60 years is ready to flower at the University of Connecticut's greenhouses. The ''corpse flower'' has the odor of 3-day-old road kill, and UConn botanists couldn't be more excited. Corpse Flower And here's a webcam of it That's really really nasty, but fascinating nonetheless

stanley porkchop
I've heard of this kind of stuff before. Weird and disgusting, but you have to admit that it's fascinating. Might even have a certain bit of irony... Husband: "Honey, smell this beautiful plant I've just bought you." Wife: "...." (Wife passes out). Husband: ".... Honey?"
