Writing a cover letter

Recommended Posts

im writing a email cover letter to apply for a job. problem is, the ad has no relevant contact numbers, names, or company info. I tried to google the email address and fax number and came up with nothing. my question is, who do i address the cover letter to? A friend told me to write "to whom it may concern" but i feel that sounds more of a childs doctor note or something.. any help will be appreciated

Job sounds a bit shady to me. I went to one of those no-name businesses, and it turns out they were recruiting people to sell $1700 Vacuum cleaners. And I mean, door to door. Basically, it was a scam cause the recruiters get money for everyone they refer, while we're out there doing the hard work. I quit after the first training session.
