matt74441
Its almost July, so we should be seeing grass any day now ;) But seriosuly, Canada isn't a frozen wasteland, it actually gets fairly warm here in the summer. In fact the winters here in Southern Ontario haven't been bad in the last decade. In actuality, places like New York State have had much worse winters in recent years then we've been. Edit: Now that I think about it, a few years ago I actually was still golfing into the first week of December because of the good weather.
Hankyone
depends where in canada but here at montreal its summer (like everywhere els in canada i guess) and there is only snow for about tree month and thats all - hot in summer, cold in winter
skiiper
Canada is directly north of the states, which means that its in the northern hemisphere, which means that its summer here. and no, most parts of canada isnt still freezing and snowing. ze-newie
If you're coming to Vancouver and you're from London expect much of the same thing. Rain in the winter, mild summers (except for a week ago it was like 30 degrees C, quite hot). Other parts of the country get hotter though, and colder in winter. lara_rose
I've been there all seasons , spring, summer, autumn (or fall as they like to call it) and winter. Apart from the winters being colder and lasting longer, its pretty similar to how it is here. This time of year? just tell her to take a light jacket for the cooler evenings. tiacacro
We didn't have much of a winter this year (Toronto) so sad too because I love winter! We only got about one storm...and the snow came and went every week so we didn't really get much :( But its been nice the past few days/weeks, although its cooled down right now...15 celsius. ChrisArr
It's 16C here in Ottawa. Good weather for the BBQ Chicken and Rib festival... In general (in Ontario) it tends to reach a daytime high of mid-20s to low 40s on some days, and the overall average for June, July, and August is 25C for Ottawa (26C in Toronto, 21C in Vancouver, etc.)

klop
Weather in Canada isnt that bad... We can have very cold and very hot temperature. This winter we had near -45c for a couple of day in Quebec, I'm sure some people remember... I was in Cuba during that freezing week! :p
russellc
we have very nice weather now. except 2 days ago where it rained...but then the sunset was red and there was a rainbow, which was really nice. then the day before that it was crazy hot. yesterday, it was warm with a breeze and it was a perfect day. today, didnt go outside yet, but according to theweathernetwork.com, its going to be 21 degrees

So that's what I meant by mild. Compared to the rest of Canada it's really not very hot here ;)
