hifive
Generalize what geometric transformation takes place when using f(x) to obtain the graph of: a. cf(x) for c > 1 and cf(x) for 0 < c < 1 b. f(cx) for c > 1 and f(cx) for 0 < c < 1 Thanks! evandarth
Wow holy sh*t. I used to be able to answer these questions by just plotting the graphs in my head when i was younger.. Clean forgotton them. Sorry dude cant help you. Will keep a lookout for the answers when someone posts them to refresh my memory lol
hifive
I know the answer [roughly], but it's pertinent only to trig graphs. for instance cf(x) changes the amplitude and f(cx) changes the frequency. But it's not a generic enough term to pertain to all graphs... I need a way to better word it.
