for .net deployment which tool is good?

helloo everybody!

I have being assigned a task of packaging,but I dont know which tool is better for .net deployment. The tools I know are installsheild ,Nant, tool with VS.net can any tell which tool better and any if any another better tool is available?.

Well, NAnt is an automated build system, not a deployment creation tool. Best bet would probably be InstallShield, if you can stomach it. It's a general pain in the ass to use if you want more than default behaviours, and it has more than its fair share of warts, but it's also got a lot more substance than the tool that comes with VS.NET.

I happen to like InstallShield. Especially Express and/or DevStudio which integrates with the VS.Net IDE. But, the correct answer to your question depends on the complexity of your installation...
