how much do you remember of your dream on average? i can only recall about 5 secs. max on average. i wonder if that's a bad sign, lol. on most nights i don't recall any dream, so it's quite rare to me.

This varies for everone someppl cannot remember anything someppl's dreams are very vivid. It may even depend on what you eat before you go to bed believe it or not, cheese before bed may give you more vivd dreams.

Then you can advance ( if that's the right word ) to dream control, i forget the technical term but it's fun.

I seem to remember a lot of my dreams, but not all. If I think too much about it, I sometimes forget.

Something weird this is that I seem to always have dreams about my old house, everything being so different, and how I would have it today. Man I miss my old house.. sniff :o but it is just weird how I ALWAYS have dreams with it, and just stuff about the past. Also, I hate how I think it is real, and I will wake up with what I was dreaming about, but it was not true! lol.

I guess I am a weird one..

Recently I've been having very realistic dreams. They usually are just about my life... common, everyday occurances. I don't know why, but I've been waking up sweating and breathing heavily as if I've just finished running a mile. It's strange because I get up and become very disoriented, thinking the dream was real.

I can usually recall any dream for about a month before it starts to fade. I've also had certain dreams happen more than once, and some dreams kinda.. pause when I wake up and then pick up where they left off when I go back to sleep

This varies for everyone. some people cannot remember anything about thier dreams and there are other people who's dreams are very vivid therefore easy to remember

hope that helps.

I remember most of mine. Only the ones that matter to me. About friends and family. They can be quite surreal too. Sometimes I have control over them, but not always. Most of my dreams for the past half year have been about a friend I've lost and miss and care about. About what could and would happen if I was able to fight for her to keep her here with me (as if I never lost her). Or they'd be about what it might be like if I was some how able to see her again now and if I could change things and get our lives as friends back together again.

Other thing dreaming about my dear friend most of the time, I tend to have a lot of dreams as if I could fly like a super hero. Just naturally being able to fly, as if it was habit. And than there are the many anime like dreams such as if I was a Dragonball Z/GT charector and had their strengths and speed.

Depends sometimes i remember, I never remember fully just little bits here and there. Other times i dont remember any part other than the fact ive had a dream. In any case i forget it all within an hour and get one with my day.

Tend to have dreams now and again with lots of snakes in, dont like snakes

Tell you whats funny about this, listen to us all, well the blokes in here. Would we talk about these things down the pub with our mates ?? I doubt it, the wonders of anonymity on the net

I get really vivid ones, they seem real, and sometimes disturbing.

Once had a conversation with an ex-gf who died several years ago, I thought it was real, scared the sh!t out of me.

I hardly ever recall dreams, but I can still remember the one I had the other night. I was in some kind of samurai dojo, me and others were all lined up, and the main guy said that he was sending someone round to make sure we didnt have any drugs on us! He said the penalty for having drugs on your person was death, he also said if you know you have some just come and own up to save the effort of searching you etc. For some reason I had some lol so I walked up, and there was already a guy there being hanged, I said to the main guy is there any other method of death I can choose cos I dont fancy the whole hanging thing, and he said no way. Then I woke up. I also remember that while I was in my dream awaiting my fate, I thought to myself oh so THIS is how I eventually end :p ****** up dream but kinda fun in a sick perverted kind of way.

I'd say about 98% of my dreams in the past 5 years I don't remember them when I wake up. Therefore, I don't even know if I'm dreaming or not, although research says I probably am.

What's even stranger is the 2% that I do remember all happen to be negative dreams. The last one that I recall happened about 2 weeks ago and involved myself, my girlfriend, and someone I didn't know. My girlfriend and I were waiting for a movie to start and we were sitting outside the theater. Her cell phone went off and she answered it and started talking to the other person. I didn't really pay attention until the end of the conversation when I heard my girlfriend say "Nothing. I'll come over right now, I've got nothing important going on. I'll see you in a few minutes." And I remember the feeling I had when she just stood up and told me she would see me later. I was like WHAAAAT THE FUUUUCC!? Apparantly I went to the movie by myself and sometime later I drove to her house. She was there with some other female whom I didn't know. When she opened the door she was on her way out already. She walked right by me and then her friend just smiled at me. They got into my girlfriend's car and before she took off she rolled down the window and said something like "Don't wait for me."

All of a sudden I woke up and shot straight up and my girlfriend was right next to me watching TV. I was in a deep sweat and she thought something was wrong medically until I told her the dream and she just laughed.

I remember 1 dream from 4 years ago, and I'll probably remember it for the rest of my life. I was in my pub and there was a group of boffins and intelligent people. Me my mom and my sister was there, and their was going to be a huge wall of fire to cover the whole world. These boffins had protective suits and there was one left. My family chose me and I then asked where my dad was, my mom said he was dead.. Next thing I remember was the fire wall coming and watching my family die.

I hated it then, I hate it now but it won't go away :anry:
