All you need to be deciding on now is whether or not you are going to college. When you get there, then you can decide by feeling out the different courses and finding something you like. As far as tech jobs, well by the time you get around to needing a job who knows what the hot area will be? Don't worry if you don't know what you want to be just yet, you have a lot of time to figure it out.

hadiz
Just do whatever comes naturally to you. If you enjoy using computers, try to narrow it down. Do you like to build machines? Are you a good programmer? Web/graphic designer? Find what you're good at and what you enjoy and go from there.
hoyablue
Money shouldn't be the priority characteristic in a job when choosing one. What is most important is doing something you like. I know a lot of people who hate their jobs despite the fact that they are making oodles of money. Think of it this way, you're going to be spending most of your life doing something, at least let it be something you want to do. Money is not the sole prerequisite for true happiness.
