Microsoft have recently anounced an addition to the visual studio family in the form of express languages.

When Microsoft eventually release Whidbey will it include the express versions, I mean say you bought VB.Net 2005 Standard would you get the express version with it or is the express line a seperate product ?

Also post your thoughts below of these express products !

Kind Regards

Express is a stripped down version of VB.NET 2005. If you bought Standard, then you would have what Express has plus extra features. Just like if you bought Professional or Architect, they'd have all the features of the lower versions, plus a lot more.

Well, I'd venture that you won't be able to tell the difference save for a few features, so I doubt that anyone purchasing Standard+ would want less features. The IDE itself should remain the same.
