Porthos SG1
For hardly any reason, my knee will get thrown out of joint. I find myself in pain and cursing up a blue streak. Just now, all I did was sit in my computer chair. Before my arse could park itself...WHAM! It is never the same knee either! Though my right throws out more often then my left. I just wish there was somthing I could do about it.

Porthos SG1
The arch in your foot might be flat, go see a doctor. Nope, not flat. I do find it hard to find shoes that fit my high arch though.

Bearded Kirklander
Doctor is a very good idea. You have have ligament or other tissue issues that prevent your knee from being held stable naturally. I hope you get it figured out and it turns out ok. Good luck! (Y)
oVerboosT
I have the same problem too, my mussles between the cap and the bone itself are detoriated (being shot right beside the knee and things didnt help ether) so every 5th step or so, or when I get up my knee bone and leg bone will cause friction, causing a crack sound with a quick but sharp pain
