SonComet
How many times you can get it done depends on the thickness of you retina or cornea or whatever. Atleast that's what a friend of mine who had it done said.
Guest Ryan
lol cool, i have black eyes, i guess it would work the best with me. I got brown. I'd try it if I ever had the money and could afford it. :)
ceminess
I got brown. I'd try it if I ever had the money and could afford it:):) i got the money, it is just that my glasses never bothered me before. so i don't see the need in getting my eyes corrected if i don't have a problem with wearing glasses. Bearded Kirklander
The thing I'd be worried about is something going wrong. Halos around the pupil used to happen to people, plus there could be scarring or a bad reaction to the procedure. I would not want that to happen. Jason S. Global Moderator Posted July 2, 2004 Global Moderator Share Posted July 2, 2004 my manager just got it done last week... says his vision is perfect now... for a couple days after you need to constantly wear sunglasses and they give you drops to keep your eyes moist... but while theyre doing it it doesnt hurt... they numb your eyes real well and its over in like a minute. i know some other people that have had it done many years ago and now they still have to use reading glasses for stuff up close... but other than that their vision is great. Max Veteran Posted July 2, 2004 Veteran Share Posted July 2, 2004 I would have it done, but: a. I'm only 16. b. I cannot afford that amount of money (yet) c. My eyes are perfect compared to other peoples. I just hate having to read text that is further than about 5ft away.

kaptain chump
My mom has bad eyesight (her whole family does) but my dad doesnt. If my eyesight ever went bad, i'd definately be willing to try this laser eye surgery. If it gives results like they claim, it could be life changing operation. Even $3000 would be cheap to have perfect vision again.
DerkPY
Yer, when you think of the amount of money you would normally spend on eye care over your life time, it is much cheaper to do it. Just if your a young skint student, its hard to come up with the cash!
