Hey everyone, I've noticed about 2 people and me (so 3) people who like Mitsubishi, more specifically the Lancer Evolution (Tho it seems I'm the only one who loves the VII more than the VIII :p)

How many of you Mitsu/Evo Fan's are there here?

I would love Evo's if there wasn't such a hatred between STi and the Evo guys, I can't stand ignorant hatred. :(

That said, Evo's suck :D STi guy here only because my friends have a few

I just recently ended my tenure as network administrator of the company which makes the seating for Eclipse, Spyder, Endeavor, Dodge Stratus, Dodge Sebring, and Galant.

You know, the really crappy seats.

hell no man...i PICKED blue....i dont like black, silver just looked too much like the regular lancers...i wanted something that i personally liked...blue is one of my favorite colors, i pretty much DEMANDED that color from the dealership...and i made them find one

This is the ONLY blue '03(technically 04, but you guys know this) EVO in TX, at least it was last time i checked

in terms of me liking the car? i love it! its hard riding with my friends or driving their cars now, as im completely used to driving my car

I've added a new exhaust and i got a PSI Controller for the turbo, so i alternate from 315hp to about 345 depending on how much air im running through the turbo... Just two days ago I was in 4 races, I'm still undefeated, though i pick my races carefully... Also i have a pretty nice system in my car

But yes, i love my car, every second of it...Great car. I guess the main thing i love about it is that its a 4-banger, so the insurance is pretty cheap, and yet the car hauls soooooooooo much ass...and its great p***ing off the Civic users that think just because they have an exhaust, that their car is actually worth something.... :shifty:

dougie: EVO seats are comfortable

Actually Mitsubishi is about to go broke / bankrupt whatever, so enjoy your toys before the steam runs out of Mitsubishi. :p

Not really :p

It was Dialmond Crysler (There Main Shareholder) who said they wernt gonna fund them anymore, but the Mitsubishi Group (Mistu Bank/Mitsu Heavy Industries, Mitsu Electric etc.) chipped in a few billion to get em going again.

With the right business moves, and strategic business planning it would be great soon'

THe main reason was for that 0/0/0 Thing back a few years ago. Dumb 16 y/o kids who didn't know how to drive crashed there few day old Mitsu, and didn't pay it back in full - Which cased an "over-production" effect if you will.

I'm an Evo fan, but f Mitsubishi. I've owned my silver EvoVIII since the end of March, and since then I've put ~5100 miles on it. The car is an amazing machine, but I regret having it as my first manual car. Why? One, I just turned 19 (exactly a week ago), and I'm too immature to have that much power at my disposal. Two, I should have read more about the Evo before deciding on it because many owners complain about a faulty stock clutch and transfer case. Unfortunately, I'm one of the unlucky ones with a faulty clutch. I may be somewhat responsible for this even though I never abused the car (speeding isn't abuse! ;)), but even if I did have something to do with it, 5100 miles? That's just a POS. Anyways, Mitsu won't fix my clutch for less than $3200, nor will they even check it out for less than ~$1000. Because of that, I'm in the process of selling my Evo to get a less powerful, more reliable car from a more dependable company. I'm mainly looking for a '93 Nissan 240SX Hatch, or a '02 RSX.

Edit: You forgot to list http://www.mitsubishisucks.com under your links.

Althought this site doesn't have the most mature name in the world, it's pretty informative and interesting.
