DrMetallica
I have a car with a cd player (it won't play mp3 cds) and I'd like to get more music than just the normal 20 tracks. Is there any program I can use or anything? I know DVD Shrink will take a 5 gig DVD and shrink it to 700 megs. Is there any way to do this with audio? pimpshiznid
Nope... That why they are called 80 min discs. They can hold a maximum of 80 mins of content... No more than that. There is no way to get around it either. I only know one cd that was ever able to get more than that, and that was the Beatles "One"
DrMetallica
But is there a way to shrink the .wav file size?
Starcom826
DVD Shrink does so by reencoding. You could do that with audio, but then again you'd lose a lot of quality if you kept it in wav, and if you changed it to another format, it wouldn't be an audio cd.
