yeah, i'ts really not too hard to give up 'something'

it's all in your mind. the only thing preventing you from giving up something is your mind.

although i know drug addictions and stuff can mess with your body biologically...but for the most part, i think it's all in your head.

anyway, i gave up soda.

i only drink it on occasion when i feel like i want to drink some fizziness. :p

 I gave up drinking soda 6 months ago along with a few other friends thanks to my best friend taking the lead by him committing to not drinking any at all of last year. But man I had to say that at first it was hard not to drink 2-3 sodas a day, and having that caffeine in me. Now though I feel better than ever, and have lost a lot of weight to from it to. So really I don't think I will ever go back to sodas ever again. Water is more refreshing and better than ever! :D Really now all I ever drink is like water, or things like lemonade; nothing really carbonated anymore.

gave up soda a few years back.. i'll only drink it if theres nothign else around. i just drink water all the time.. its healthier, and its normally free at restaurants.. maybe an orange juice or a milk every now and then.. quit buying the soda, if its not in your house, you wont want to drink it. just keep a bottle of water with you

Even if I wanted to switch to water right now it would be a bad time.

A lot of business' were either closed or not servering water today.

Since the whole area has contaminated drinking water.

I can't even drink from the filter right now.

They said it's dangerous to drink any water from this area.

I get serious headaches from caffeine withdrawl. They really hurt and seem to last forever. I get these headaches because there are periods when I mostly drink Coke and then I'll go through periods where I don't really drink much soda at all.

6-7 cans a day!!!!!!!! I couldn't force myself to drink that much

that is nothing i will drink from 12pm - 6am about a 12pack a day from work and staying up late.

work: 2 - 12 oz bottles

home: about 1 hour sometimes 2-3.

mt. dew just tastes too good for me to put down. when i went to acapulco for spring break they did not have mt. dew not even tequilla and corona could make my headaches go away for the first few days. damn addictions....

Same here... I probably drink a 12 pack every 36 hours. And if I don't, I get seriously bad headaches. But I don't like fruit juices or milk. And if it's water, it has to be the good stuff... Fiji, Smartwater, etc. And then the water ends up costing more that the Pepsi I drink. Being, a college student as I am, I try to get the bang out of every buck, so to speak.

I used to drink a lot of it. Then just quit one day. Didn't suffer any withdrawl symptoms at all.

Now its just orange juice, apple juice, and water for me.

I don't drink soda. I dont even eat my own cake on my birthday. No sugar for me. I know, weird. I'm not a religious nut or anything. I just keep in shape for things.

Hell no. I'm totally balanced. I just have a thing about processed sugar. Its not good for you. No honey, no sugar. I get my glucose from fruits and stuff.

I'm a meat eater, etc. I just believe in not gorging myself or drinking tons of soda.

I know. I'm gonna be called a total weirdo, but hey, the benefits of such discipline are very rewarding.
