chickemoney
I give up pop for about half 4 months every year for Cross-Country season, it sucks, kind of depressing, but I hope its worth it?
nuka_t
giving something up is a bad idea. just take it in moderation.
1ceman
I will hit 3 years of no soda in a few months. After a while I had no craving for it whatsoever and now its like whats the point. I've doin it this long might as well keep it goin. All i drink is basically water and apple juice.

DoNuTjC
I gave up soda... use to drink one of those little bottles of coke a day but I think its time to stop... If I can quit smoking cold turkey after smoking for about 10 years and quit drinking cold turkey after getting drunk just about everyday for the past 3 years (withdrawls were horrible) then I think I can quit drinking soda. WATER HERE I COME!!! :D

uniacidz
Is easy. Mind you, you have to want to quit it. Start reducing the amount you have and start having Juice and/or water. You dont have to get rid of it entirely, just in moderation.
insanekiwi
i cut down my lemonade amount to like one 1litre bottle per week. the rest is water, water, water, maybe some fruit juices aswell. and i drink about 3-6 liters per day.
forster
I decided yesterday I didn't want to drink soda, coke specifically, anymore. My dad drank Pepsi the greater part of his life, and he has all sorts of stomach/teeth trouble as a result. Well I drink probably 6-7 cans a day, not a lot. However it's been just over 24 hours since I had one, and I have had a terrible headache all day.I've heard of these type of side effects, almost like a (mild) form of withdrawal. I'm hoping when I get up tomorrow it will be all gone. I know this definetly happens if you try to get off of caffeine, but I'm still drinking tea which I know has caffeine in it. Anyone else done this type of thing? Yeah, I drank water straight for six weeks, didnt notice any differences in me at all apart from losing a bit of weight and feeling less tired, cant say Ive ever had withdrawals from fizzy drinks since Tab Clear when I was like 15. D,Ranged
I dont seem to have that much of a problem not drink fizzy drinks, but then i do love a good cup of tea.
tr1kstanc3
i probably drink soda twice a week. for the most part i drink water (all day at work) and i always keep a glass of water next to my bed. you feel so much better at work when you have a big glass of water when you first wake up. whenever i get a headache i drink a nice hot glass of tea. the only other drinks i keep stocked in my fridge are milk and orange juice.
