I'm going to email Buy.com first, and if I can get this order not submitting thing ironed out I'll get them there, else @ PCPerformance. S/H is a little more but the cables cost less. Only $5 more than Buy.com in total and way less than CDW or Amazon. Thanks again.

DrMetallica
Why the hell was there tax? You must have bought from a company that has an agreement with Amazon.com and that company was located in Cali. And that's also probably why you had to pay for shipping, as most orders over $25 are free shipping.

Yea, I pointed out earlier it was from another company, but damn, that's some expensive S/H

.will
I just tried ordering 3 SATA cables from Amazon, S/H was $23 for GROUND. what? amazon shipping is usually really cheap for me (if not free!). are you in the us?
hoyablue
What erks me the most about Amazon.com is its processing policies. It's impossible to get an item you ordered, the very next day, even if you chose overnight shipping. I ended up finding out yesterday, after purchasing 150$ of merchandise, that despite the 2-day shipping I ordered, the package will still ship on the 6th since it takes time to "process". Bearded Kirklander
At least you don't have to pay sales tax though, right? Cables have always been a ripoff, but the shipping makes no sense at all.

BxBoy
I haven't read the thread in it's entirety, but I myself love Amazon, have not had any problems with them in the past. (Y)
Shibby
i love amazon uk. only problems i've ever had was mash season 3 getting orderd then lost. normally my family will buy mostly buy cd's and dvds which are not in the shops. if the cd/dvd is damage it's just as easy to go back to the shop to replace. for pc parts i will try pcworld and novatech stores, if it's rare i will order online. all electric goods we will buy in the shops from place like currys and power house, because we can haggle and also some of the people are really really helpfull. stuff like connectors or cables we will go to our nearest maplins store
