imtoomuch
I don't like Pepsi and I'm a Coke drinker, but Coke is just as corrosive.
pdog
HEY where did you get that? I know if pepsi uses that coke will and any other person like that. coke and any variation (in the south any kind of soda is called "coke") contain stuff that is corrosive, people have known this for a good while. If you put it in a glass container and put a metal car part in it, it will eat it on like a few days.

RDX1
Isn't that for the pure syrup? It does get watered down quite a bit. I drink Pepsi all the time and I don't brush my teeth, they look just fine. :/

f0x
I am a coke person aswell....and I don't know why... I'm not sure what that picture is showing seems to be a barrel of something (I mean what the stuff is going to be used for....obviously I can read the label) .... I work at 7-11 and part of my job is to change the syrup on the fountain and slurpee machines. Both Pepsi and coke syrup comes large boxes (usually 20 litres), with a bag inside of them. The only thing dangerous about them is if you hurt your back trying to lift it..... both coke and pepsi are corrosive (pH of about 4.... will rot your teeth over a long period of time.... but hey, the sugar will also do that :) ) but that is becuase of all the carbon dioxide dissolved in it. Slimy
we all know that junk food is really bad, more stuff in there than we are supposed to have over a period of 10 years but we eat/drink it anyways, i used to drink tons of pop but i try to stick to water and then again this has a whole lineup of filtering pros and cons so what you have to believe in is: BETTER THAN, juice is better than pop bottled water is better than juice filtered water is better than bottled water fruits, veggies and meat are better than junk food, fast food etc. anything homemade will always be better than the above (unless u r using ingredients from...) slippery
Just a lil' useful info for those that didnt already know: 1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coca-Cola in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident. 2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days. 3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and ... Let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china. 4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola. 5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion. 6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes. 7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, Remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy. 8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, And run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield. FYI: 1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its ph is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. 2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous Material place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials. 3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!

.will
its all in moderation. its fine to have a coke or two a day - hell even three would be fine. but if youre having 10 or 15 everyday, thats really gonna **** you up in a lot of ways. hey cheeseburgers are good to eat once a week, but if you eat a cheeseburger for every meal for 3 years, you'll be in HORRIBLE condition. its moderation.
